I draw while you talk
2014
An audio-visual overlay of two contrasting characters with disparate approaches to art.
Raja, a kid from a migrant family who squat in an abandoned building located in Navi Mumbai. He is playful and likes to draw. In the video, he is engaging with an architectural drawing book. His language is visual and based more on action than thought.

Mr.Kaushik, a businessman and an art enthusiast from Mumbai. In the audio, he is conversing in Hinglish (hybrid of Hindi + English) and critiquing the current state of art market in India. His language is market centric and evaluates an art-work based on its commercial value.

What happens when Raja meets Mr.Kaushik?
