Right to the city
- with Masoom Moitra
Today's cities are being designed and shaped using a market centric approach - the market or the businesses are at the center and everything else, including the people that inhabit these cities, are placed around it. This leads to an inequitable city where the alienated populace has to constantly adapt to fit into the existing model of the city. Instead, cities should be people centric with equal rights. The design of the city emerges by people exercising their rights to the city.
'Right to the city' explores this theory using passive intervention techniques.
